Laura Elias is a London-based Cypriot artist.

Born in 1990 in London but raised in Limassol, Cyprus she studied Fine Art followed by Prop Making and now works across digital illustration, drawing, performance and the theatre.

Laura is currently creating a series of works for archaeological project Sicily in Transition after a residency period of three consecutive summers in Castronovo di Sicilia.

She continues to work as a prop maker for the National Theatre in London year round.

Her work explores our enduring connection to archaeological findings, the physical act of digging up cultural place markers and investigating our identity across shared histories and displacement.
